Grade 6 is where the colour wheel is first introduced properly: the three primary colours (red, yellow, blue) that cannot be mixed from anything else, the secondary colours made by mixing two primaries, and warm and cool colour groups.
This lesson is the foundation the rest of the syllabus assumes is already known - by Grade 10 and 11, colour is discussed in terms of how an artist used it, not what it's called, so it's worth being genuinely solid on the names and mixing relationships now rather than revising them later under exam pressure.
